Ahmedabad-based human rights activist, Raju Solanki, said, “Una flogging issue is definitely painful. But, here in this region around Una, there are number of cases of atrocities against Dalits which are much graver and yet the victims are still searching for justice and the state administration is turning a deaf ear to them.”

“So, these victims have, from today, sat on indefinite hunger strike here in Gandhinagar seeking redressal of their demands from the state government. And I am supporting them,” Solanki said.
