B K Dadabhoy has taken over as divisional railway manager for Pune division. He took charge on August 11 from outgoing DRM Suneet Sharma.
Dadabhoy belongs to the Indian Railway Traffic Service of the 1986 batch. His parent Railway is Western Railway and he has worked in various capacities, including chief commercial manager (passenger services), chief commercial manager (passenger marketing) and chief traffic manager, on Western Railway as well as South Central Railway.
Before being appointed as DRM, Pune, Dadabhoy was working as the chairman of the railway recruitment board.
Suneet Sharma, the outgoing DRM, will go back to his parent department, mechanical, where he will work as the chief rolling stock engineer.
In his tenure which lasted two years, Sharma tried to improve the cleanliness of the tracks, platforms and aboard the trains. Sharma also took stringent measures against defacement of railway property and improved the technological interface in the Pune division.
