NGT to DJB: Give us expenditure plan for Yamuna

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) Friday directed the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to furnish the expenditure plan under the current budget on the Yamuna pertaining to the water and sewage sector.

“The DJB shall provide us the plan expenditure under the current budget both in relation to water and sewage sector,” said the principal bench, while scheduling the next hearing for April 19.

The Tribunal had earlier restrained DJB from spending money on Yamuna, and asked it to submit complete details of the work they plan to complete and the funds required for the same.
