Man murders son in West Delhi: Police

A 21-year-old man was beaten to death allegedly by his father in Dabri, West Delhi. The incident took place in the Vishwas Park residential area of Dabri on Saturday when Vivek was sleeping. Police said preliminary investigation revealed Vivek used to have regular fights with his father Kuldeep.

Vivek had asked his father to take up a job in the local market to support the family financially, police said. A police officer said around 5 am on Saturday morning when all family members were asleep, Kuldeep attacked Vivek, who was asleep.

Kuldeep allegedly hit Vivek with an iron rod repeatedly.

During questioning, Kuldeep told police that he feared his son would murder him for not taking up that job and decided to kill him. Kuldeep told police that his son had got violent a few days ago.
