Jamiat-ulama-e-Hind on Sunday organised a Dalit-Muslim Mahasangram Rally at the Ramlila Maidan.
Attended by Dalits, Muslims and Adivasis, the rally demanded budgetary allocation for Dalits, Adivasis and minorities in proportion to their population, representation of all three in constitutional and public institutions, end of caste-based discrimination and speedy unbiased justice to victims of caste and communal violence.

The participants demanded strict action against cow vigilante groups. The speakers demanded reservation in private sector and strengthening the policies of reservation in education, jobs and in promotions.
