Xiaomi Mi 6 was launched in China in April 2017. Mi 6 features a 5.15-inch Full HD (1080p) display and features a four-sided 3D glass and metal design. Xiaomi Mi 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, and comes with 6GB of RAM on board along with 64GB and 128GB of storage options.
Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a dual rear camera on the back. It has a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens on the back, which can be used to take a ‘bokeh’ style image with the background blurred, and only the subject in focus. Other features of the camera are 2x optical lossless zoom and 4-axis OIS. The front camera on the Xiaomi Mi 6 is 8MP with 1080p video capture capability as well.
Xiaomi Mi 6 will also have a Ceramic black colour version. The battery on this phone is 3,350 mAh. It will run Xiaomi’s MIUI on top of Android, though the exact version has not been specified.
Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with new 2×2 dual Wi-Fi technology, and the company says the phone is also splash resistant. It will also come with NFC payment support for Xiaomi’s Mi Pay NFC-based mobile payments service.
Xiaomi Mi 6 is priced at Yuan 2499 for the 6GB RAM+64GB version, Yuan 2899 for the 6GB RAM+128GB version and Yuan 2999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB version with Ceramic design. It will come in Black, White and Blue colour option, although the Ceramic will come in Black colour option.
