Xiaomi Redmi 4A was launched in China in November 2016.It was launched in India on March 20 at Rs 5,999. Xiaomi Redmi 4A is a budget smartphone from the company, which is a successor the Redmi 3 series. Redmi 4A sports a plastic body with a metal finish, and looks similar to other Redmi smartphones.

Redmi 4A has a 5 inch (diagonal) LCD IPS display with HD resolution (1280 x 720 resolution, 296PPI) with 1000: 1 contrast ratio and 72 (typ) / 68 (min) color gamut. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz along with Adreno 308 GPU at 500 Mhz. It has 2GB RAM+16GB storage space, which is expandable up to 128GB

The rear camera on the Redmi 4A is 13MP with 5-piece lens, f/2.2 aperture, monochrome warm flash, and there’s a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Features of the rear camera are HDR, Panorama mode, continuous shooting mode, face recognition function, real-time filter, while the front camera has a countdown self-timer and face recognition function as well. The rear camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p / 720p at 30 fps.
