West Indies will be happy with how they have pulled things back. However, they could have kept Bangladesh near 280 if they had took their chances. There were plenty of dropped catches and misfields throughout the innings. Despite that, West Indies did well and kept Bangladesh under 300. Akeal Hosein picked four wickets while Alick Athanaze took two wickets. This is still a bit over par and West Indies need to start well. Can the top four give a good start? Time will tell.

Bangladesh fall 4 short of 300 but the way the innings went, they should have scored more than 350. It was all possible due to the opening stand between Saif Hassan and Soumya Sarkar. The pitch was batting friendly initially and Bangladesh made the most of it. The duo added 176, scoring at a quick rate. However, once they both fell, the flodgates opened as Najmul Hossain Shanto and Tawhid Hridoy added a bit before they tumbled over.
