YouTube is one of the favourite video streaming platforms across the world. The Google-owned platform also offers its users to download and store within the app to view them later when they do not have internet to stream the videos or the data connection speed is too low to stream videos properly.

In over 120 countries/territories around the world, users can download YouTube videos for offline playback without a subscription. For YouTube users in India, the good news is, YouTube allows the users here to have the download videos that can be viewed offline.
The downloaded videos can be viewed from within the YouTube app when the internet connectivity is poor or the internet connection is not available. To download a YouTube video for offline viewing, follow the steps listed on the next image.
Open YouTube app > Tap on a video you want to download for offline viewing > Tap on Download option that is available between the Share and Save buttons below the video's title > Choose the Video quality and that's it. When you see the blue Downloaded tick, it means the video is now available for offline viewing.
