India celebrated 67th Republic Day with patriotic fervour

Mumbai celebrated the 67th Republic day with Governor of Maharashtra C. Vidyasagar Rao unfurling the national flag at Shivaji Park.

A parade commemorating the 67th Republic Day of the country on Tuesday saw a large number of school children along with cartoon characters marching away with smile and pride.

There were various cultural performances like the Lazim, Bhangra, Gujarati folk songs and more at the event, where Poonam Mahajan and Priya Dutt hoisted the national flag.

Amid tight security, Republic Day celebrations in Kashmir passed off peacefully with unfurling of the tricolour and cultural programmes at various places.
