A major fire broke out in South Mumbai’s busy Crawford Market in the wee hours of Sunday, October 25 gutting over 60 shops. Fire officials said there was no casualty reported in the blaze. 10 fire tenders and eight water tankers were pressed into action soon after the fire brigade received an alert at 5:23 am.
