Bandipur Tiger Reserve And National Park: As the name suggests, this site in Karnataka is known for its small population of tigers. Ranthambore National Park: Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, this national park used to be a popular hunting ground among rulers of Jaipur. Kaziranga National Park: Located in Kanchanjuri, Assam, this park is made of forests, wetlands and grasslands. It is home to the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Sundarbans: This is the largest mangrove forest in the world and is located in the delta of Bay of Bengal. It is home to the popular Royal Bengal Tiger apart from crocodiles and snakes. Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary: This is located on the Western Ghats, in Kerala, and is covered in tropical and semi-evergreen forests. It provides the habitat for elephants, gaur, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, Nilgiri Langur, Hanuman Langur and the Malabar Giant Squirrel. Tourists can also go trekking here.
