Though there may be many causes for these emotions, there is a way to uplift your mood and feel better — and the solution is as simple as eating the right kind of food. Surprised? Yes, your food intake actually can have as much to do with how you feel mentally and emotionally, as it does with the general well-being of your body. CITRUS FOODS — Foods such as oranges, lemons and limes are high in Vitamin C, which helps alleviate stress, according to a 2002 study in Psychopharmacology.
