The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has distanced itself from the protest, stating, “A few farm unions who were part of SKM during the farmers’ protest 2020-21 are organising this. Ahead of the protest, security was ramped up at the Ghazipur, Tikir and Singhu borders of Delhi. According to the police, this was done to prevent any “untoward incident”. (PTI)
