IIFA 2016 is the most talked of event for any Bollywood-loving fan, and a galaxy of stars from India have descended on to Spanish soil to celebrate the best of Indian cinema in 2015. The four-day gala — which celebrates the magic of Indian cinema at an international destination every year — began on June 23. Saturday (June 25) night saw the IIFA awards function, in which the period film Bajirao Mastani took top honours with the maximum wins. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh bagged the Best Actor (Female) and Best Actor (Male) trophy. Best Actor (Female): Deepika Padukone bagged the award for her performance in Piku.
Best Actor (Male): Ranveer Singh was awarded for Bajirao Mastani.
Baywatch star Priyanka Chopra won the among Best Actor in Supporting Role (Female) at the award show for Bajirao Mastani. Priyanka is now quite regular at international award shows, with her blooming Hollywood career well on its way.
Best Actor in Supporting Role (Male): Anil Kapoor won the award among for Dil Dhadakne Do.
Best Debutant (Female): Bhumi Pednekar won it for her endearing performance in Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
Best Negative Role: Darshan Kumar was awarded for his negative role in NH10.

Best Story and Best Dialogue: Amitabh Bachhan and Deepika starrer Piku got the Best Story award while Juhi Chaturvedi got the Best Dialogue Awards for the film.
Best song of the year: The mellifluos song Moh moh ke dhaage was a winner.
Best Playback Singer (Female): Monali Thakur.
Best Playback Singer (Male): Papon.
Best Lyricist: Varun Grover.
