Deepika Padukone attended the launch event of a new app of a bank on Friday (September 11), meanwhile TV actors Gauahar Khan, Asha Negi, Debina Bonnerjee met the press at the Navratri Utsav.
Deepika, who was pretty in a white maxi dress, will be seen opposite ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in her upcoming movie 'Tamasha'. She said it was a dream to be working with Ranbir again in an Imtiaz Ali directed film.
Deepika Padukone said: "Tamasha is a very special film for all of us. We all have worked with each other individually in different capacities. I and Imtiaz have done Love Aaj Kal together. Ranbir and Imtiaz have done Rockstar together. I and Ranbir have done Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. We are all very good friends and it’s a dream to be working with this team of Ranbir and Imtiaz and basically to be directed by Imtiaz in a film and to be working with Ranbir in the same. I am happy it has finally happened."
When Deepika was asked if her star power as the ruling diva of the box-office would help Ranbir Kapoor regain his lost stardom, the actress told The Indian Express: “I believe everyone who comes on board a film contributes to the success of the film. Ranbir is a huge star we all know that. Everyone has their ups and downs in their career. I am nobody to comment on what he has been through.”
Meanwhile, Gauahar Khan along with other television actresses Asha Negi, Debina Bonnerjee adressed the media at a navratri event.
Gauahar Khan looked pretty in a multi coloured lehenga.
Asha Negi kept it simple with her mix and match skills.
Debina Bonnerjee also graced the occasion in ethnic.
Actress Payal Rohatgi chose a combination of blue and yellow for the event.
