The UT traffic cops will launch an SMS alert service on traffic updates for commuters and motorists in the city from Wednesday.

The UT traffic cops will launch an SMS alert service on traffic updates for commuters and motorists in the city from Wednesday. Chandigarh IGP P K Srivastava will launch the service. Subscribers must send a request on 9219592195 and will be charged 6 paisa for registration. The service will be free later.
