Nitish Kumar silent on Narendra Modi’s attack but will react at appropriate time

The JD(U) leader said he would definitely react at an appopriate time.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday declined to react to BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s frontal attack on him but said he would definitely respond at an appropriate time.

At a news conference on the Patna serial blasts that killed five people,Kumar was asked for his comments on his Gujarat counterpart’s description of he being an opportunist and hypocrite who “betrayed and backstabbed” socialist stalwarts like Jaiprakash Narayan and Ram Manohar Lohia.

“This is not the time for that,” Kumar told the questioner, apparently referring to the blasts, and after a short pause said with a smile,”that does not mean I do not want to say anything.” The JD(U) leader said he would definitely react at an appopriate time. The question came up at the fag end of the Chief Minister’s news conference.
