Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav issued production warrants for the duo, arrested for their alleged role in the Chinnaswamy stadium blast in 2010 and currently lodged in Bangalore’s central jail.

The Special Cell will also record Ansari’s voice sample. On June 2,the Special Cell had approached the court for a non-bailable warrant against him. Investigators are also on the lookout for three associates of Ansari, identified as Masood Mehmood Ahmed,Zulfiqar Fayyaz Kagazi Ahmed Kagzi and Sheikh Ejaz, all residents of Beed in Maharashtra.

Delhi Police said while Ansari was not wanted in any specific terror case in Delhi,he is being interrogated for his larger role in the formation of the Indian Mujahideen. “He has confessed to his involvement in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and we are gathering more evidence against him,” said an officer.
