Censor trouble again for Turning 30!!! TV promo

The promos of Turning 30!!! have come under fire from the Central Board of Film Certification after the Board complained to the central government that some television promos of the film had not been approved by it. Censor Board chief Sharmila Tagore informed the Information & Broadcasting Ministry to take action. But the films director Alankrita Srivastav said,We have not flouted any guidelines. We have had requisite permission from the Censor board for every promo on TV.

The first-time director said that there has been a confusion over the promos. When the films first promo was released in May 2010,we had got a U certificate for it. Later,it never got passed. Various shots that were okayed in one promo were not approved when they were submitted as part of another promo. I have all the paperwork in order and have given copies of the censor certificates to the press.

However,when contacted,Sharmila Tagore,Chairperson of the Censor Board,said,There has been a misunderstanding. I dont want to comment on it.
