The verdict is out and the ecstatic winners of the Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Awards share their sentiments

The Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Award for Best Actor in a Supporting role (Male) went to Arshad Warsi for Ishqiya.

When I became an actor,the first award ceremony at which I performed was for Screen. But,over the years,I lost faith in awards after seeing so much of my work go unappreciated. That is why I was not expecting to win and I still cannot believe Ive won this award. My wife (Maria Goretti) has promised to cook a fabulous meal for me. Shes an excellent cook and I cant wait to see whats in store for me. – Arshad Warsi

The Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Award for Best Actor in a Supporting role (Female)went to Shernaz Patel for Guzaarish. Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee picked up her trophy.

This award is hugely precious to me as its my first in this industry and because its for a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I owe this win entirely to him. He is my mentor,guide and friend. He is any actors dream as he brings out the best in you. I am truly blessed. Thank you Screen for this wonderful New Year gift. – Shernaz Patel
