Just days before the country goes for fifth phase of the Lok Sabha polls, the political parties are trying to match up to each other’s social media game. While BJP yesterday posted a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi cooking and serving food for langar, the Congress today took to social media to post a video of Rahul Gandhi. Doing what? Let’s check out in the following list of buzzing posts for today!

Rahul Gandhi gets his hair, beard trimmed at barber shop

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been campaigning in Rae Bareli for the past few days. The Wayanad MP, who has also been fielded from Rae Bareli, walked into a little humble barber shop on one of his campaign days, and got his hair and beard trimmed. The Congress party posted the same on its X handle today and it went viral within minutes. The video shows Gandhi interacting with the barber attending to him.

As Gandhi availed the saloon services, he asked about the barber’s life: for how many years has he been working, how much he makes in a day, what his father and other family members do. At the end, he is seen posing for photograph with the staff of the barber shop.

Previously too, Gandhi had grabbed eyeballs when he rode an e-rickshaw while also interacting with the driver of the same. Once, he also paid a visit to an automobile mechanic shop and lent a hand in the work there. He had also created a buzz on social media when he dressed up like a coolie at a railway station, and carried luggage on his head as he engaged in a chit-chat with the porters.

The BJP meanwhile released a new video to target the Congress over its ‘dynasty politics’.

Sharing the video on its X hnadle, the party wrote: “A man, who rose from the ground changed the culture of Indian politics. No more will only a son of prime minister become a prime minister. Dynasticism should be completely eradicated.

AAP’s dig at ‘Modi ki guarantee’

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took a dig at ‘Modi ki guarantee’ with a video showing a young man voting for Modi in 2019 and hoping to get a job. However, the same youth does the same in 2024 elections too — signifying that Modi could not live up to his job guarantee.
