The National Testing Agency declared the results for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2024 on March 13. The admissions in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools will be through e-Counselling mode only. Candidates are required to register themselves at pesa.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling/ to move to the next stage of the process for admission to Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools through e-counselling. Students who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official website of AISSEE - exams.nta.ac.in Results will also be published on the website of the respective schools. Candidates will be informed through email and SMS about it. Qualified candidates will be required to apply for e-counselling after the declaration of results. The validity of the result of AISSEE 2024 shall be only for the current admission year 2024-25 for Class 6 and Class 9, and cannot be carried forwarded for the next session of admission for Class 6 and Class 9. NTA conducts the AISSEE-2024 for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2024-25. These schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. In majority cases, the admission will be based on the position of the candidate in the Merit List of AISSEE 2024, subject to availability of vacancies, compliance with other eligibility requirements, medical fitness and verification of documents. The Sainik Schools Society (SSS), which handles all Sainik Schools, is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Defence. The schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. Sainik Schools prepare cadets to join the National Defense Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and other Training Academies for officers. At present, there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country.
