WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024: Three years after their last King and Queen of the Ring tournament in 2021, WWE will be crowing their 22nd King of the Ring and their second-only Queen of the Ring in King and Queen of the Ring 2024 PLE (Premier Live Event), on Saturday, May 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. To date, WWE has crowned a total of 21 King of the Ring winners since its inception in 1985, while only one Queen of the Ring has been crowned as it only started in 2021 (It was called Queen’s Crown Tournament initially). Although the first King of the Ring was crowned in 1985, the separate PLE dedicated to the King of the Ring event started in 1993. The tournament was originally an annual event from 1985 to 2002 but was later discontinued. Although not annually, WWE keeps bringing it back from time to time to keep it relevent. For the 2024 tournament, Superstars from Raw and Smackdown fought each other to represent their respective brands and themselves in the finals of the tournament on May 25. Here is the list of all past WWE King and Queen of the Ring winners.
