Hours after heavy gunfire and explosions rang out Saturday morning at an upscale restaurant at the heart of Bangladesh’s diplomatic zone, Taslima Nasreen, a Bangladeshi author who is in exile in India, took to Twitter to comment on the attack.
Taslima took a jibe at Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina saying while ISIS claimed responsibility for the Dhaka attack, the PM was still sticking to her stand of no presence of the terrorist group in the country.
ISIS claims responsibility for Dhaka attack. But Prime Minister Hasina has been saying there is no ISIS in Bangladesh!

The acclaimed writer, who has earned the ire of Muslim leaders both in India and Bangladesh for her views on Islam, was also critical of the ISIS.
Media calls them ‘gunmen’. But they shout allahu akbar, while killing & terrorizing people,. Shouldn’t they be called ‘Islamic terrorists’?

She also remarked, rather caustically, on why there has been no end to the hostage crisis even six hours after it began.
Police,RAB (rapid action battalion),Army,BGB(Border Guard B’desh),Navy all came to fight 8 terrorists at restaurant.6 hrs passed. No solution

Taslima holds strong feminist and human rights views and has not been able to return to Bangladesh, her native country that she left in 1994. The author has received death threats from extremist groups linked to al-Qaeda.
