Eiffel Tower shut to visitors after terror threat: Reports

The iconic tower was shut for the day amid high security alert.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris was shut to all visitors for the day after reports of suspected terrorist being spotted on the tower on Sunday.

According to Daily Mail, three ‘terrorist suspects’ in ‘a large rucksack’ were seen ascending the tower after which the police reported to have cordoned off the place for public visit.
