The interview also delved into Trump's continued belief that he won the 2020 election, which he has repeatedly claimed was stolen.

President Donald Trump shared that he is “having a lot of fun” as he marks his 100th day in office, reflecting on how his second term feels very different from his first. In an interview with The Atlantic, Trump said, “The first time, I had two things to do—run the country and survive; I had all these crooked guys. And the second time, I run the country and the world.”

According to The Atlantic, sources inside and outside the White House have noted that Trump seems to be enjoying himself more this time around. “The first time, the first weeks, it was just ‘Let’s blow this place up.’ This time, he’s blowing it up with a twinkle in his eye,” said lobbyist Brian Ballard, a close ally of the president.

Trump also acknowledged that his administration has pushed forward a wide range of policies, including a tough anti-immigration stance, a global trade war, and controversial discussions about annexing Greenland. “I’m having a lot of fun, considering what I do,” he remarked, adding, “You know, what I do is such serious stuff.”

The interview also delved into Trump’s continued belief that he won the 2020 election, which he has repeatedly claimed was stolen. “I’m a very honest person, and I believe it with all my heart,” he said. He also claimed that his comeback after the Capitol riots and subsequent legal challenges has only made him stronger. “Yeah, it made me stronger, made me a lot stronger,” he stated.

In addition, Trump praised tech billionaires Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg, noting that they have been supportive of him during his second term. The Atlantic reported that Trump has noticed a change in the way billionaires view him. “Maybe they didn’t know me at the beginning, and they know me now,” he said.

As for his future, Trump also discussed the possibility of a third term, despite the clear prohibition in the US Constitution. “That would be a big shattering, wouldn’t it?” he mused, laughing. “Well, maybe I’m just trying to shatter.” He quickly added, “It’s not something that I’m looking to do,” though his campaign is already selling “Trump 2028” merchandise.
