Chicago drive-by shooting kills 4, injures dozens outside rapper’s album release party

Four people were killed and 14 others injured in a drive-by shooting late Wednesday night in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, police said, news agency Associated Press reported. At least three victims remain in critical condition.

According to local reports, the shooting occurred outside a restaurant and lounge that had hosted an album release party for a rapper. A vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire on a crowd gathered outside before quickly fleeing the scene.

No arrests have been made so far, and the investigation is ongoing, police confirmed.
