Brazil’s government received the announcement of US sanctions on the wife of Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes with “deep indignation,” it said on Monday, calling it an attack on the country’s sovereignty.

“Brazil will not bend to yet another aggression,” Brazil’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
