WWE SummerSlam: When Jon Stewart cost John Cena his US title and a possible World HeavyWeight title.

WWE SummerSlam Payperview was in for a surprise when Jon Stewart, the former Daily Show host who retired on August 6, was the one who did the heavy damage.

How? Stewart destroyed John Cena’s chances of winning the WWE World HeavyWeight Championship and retaining his US title.

And how exactly did Stewart do that? During the Seth Rollins and John Cena match, where the winner would take all, Stewart ran in and hit Cena with a chair.

Needless to say Jon Stewart’s actions did not go down well. As this Daily Beast points even the announcers said, “Jon Stewart, what have you done!?…Jon Stewart has gone from Daily Show host to SummerSlam criminal here tonight.”

Stewart’s attack on Cena ensured that Rollins soon pinned the US champ to the ground and won both the titles
