TV star Urvashi Dholakia recently had a disappointing experience with Air India. Her luggage, for which she had paid an extra fee while travelling from London to Mumbai, got damaged. In a video, the Bigg Boss 6 winner criticised Air India and demanded a full refund for mishandling her baggage.
Dholakia posted a video on her Instagram, revealing the poor condition of her luggage after Air India’s mishandling. She said, “My suitcase is completely damaged, the handle is gone, and there are scratches. This one is cracked here as well. It’s terrible, awful mishandling by Air India.”
“I will never travel with Air India again. After paying extra for additional luggage, this is how they returned it, and even my original bag is ruined. I demand a full refund for this. I deserve it,” she said, showing the receipt of the extra baggage fee she had to pay to the airline.
“My luggage is TOTALLY DAMAGED BY @airindia AND IT IS EXTREMELY SAD AS I USED TO BE PROUD OF AIR INDIA ! #AI 130 LHR ( London) to Mumbai,” the actor captioned the video.

Several users, including celebrities, commented on the video. “God this is ridiculous,” Bigg Boss OTT 1 winner Divya Aggarwal wrote. “It happened for me too, they damaged my new Samsonite hard cover luggage. I got one advice from them instead to stop buying hard cover luggages,” a user said.
“They throw inside the containers while moving out of flight … I have seen many times,” another user commented.
In October last year, Shamita Shetty slammed IndiGo Airlines after her bags were offloaded from the aircraft without any prior information. In 2019, Sonakshi Sinha also lashed out at the airline for damaging her luggage while she was travelling to Hyderabad to perform at the Dabangg The Tour 2019.
