The Bharatiya Janta Party was banking on a lot of positive feedback from social media networks, but that seemed to have backfired, and how. Ever since the counting started early morning on November 8, media channel projections went all over the place, from declaring BJP as the winner to flipping between BJP and JD(U).

Now, as Bihar seems to have decided in favour of the Mahagathbandhan of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad, here’s how the Twitterati has responded. From commenting on the predictions to the win, to jabs on the beef ban, Twitter was merciless as always. Here’s a pick of the lot:
