Nagaland Minister for Tourism and Higher Education Temjen Imna Along is a popular figure on social media because of his wit and self-deprecating humour. The BJP leader recently flew with IndiGo airlines and received a note from the cabin crew which he shared on Twitter along with a witty message.
Along shared a photo of the note that he received. “Dear Sir, it is a great honour to have you on board with us today. Thank you for choosing IndiGo,” the note said along with a heart symbol and the flight number.
Along mistook the flight number as a contact number as he posted, “Thought it was the WhatsApp Number! Better luck on your next flight Temjen.”
Shared on Wednesday, the tweet has received more than 16,000 likes. Rajkumar Imo Singh, BJP MLA from Manipur, commented on the post and wrote, “Temjen, I guess I was a bit more lucky than you in my last indigo flight. They took a pic and sent it in wats app. Better luck next time.”
“Your sense of humor is next level sir,” said another. A third posted, “Sir, she will give you the remaining 4 digit numbers in your next flight. Please understand that everything is business and nothing comes for free. Good luck for your next flight.”
Recently, actor Anupam Kher had shared a video on Instagram as he was honoured by the crew members of IndiGo airlines on a flight to Bengaluru. In a video posted on Instagram Monday, Kher was seen being introduced by the cabin crew and also being given a note.
In the clip, the air hostesses requested the passengers to stand at their own seats so they could click a group picture with Kher. Thanking the crew members, Kher addressed everyone onboard and said, “This is so amazing that this kind of a welcome is given to me. I thank the captain and crew and all of you for giving me this great honour and for introducing me to the flight to Bangalore.”
