And Vijay Goel got trolled by Tanmay Bhat!

Sports Minister Vijay Goel has been trolled left, right and centre for making silly mistakes on Twitter. In the long list of gaffes, he was ‘caught’ taking selfies with already exhausted Olympians for which the organisers even threatened to cancel his accreditation. He also managed to get mocked at for tweeting out an image of athlete Dutee Chand, while wishing Srabani Nanda. But his best was getting the name of star gymnast Dipa Karmakar wrong.

“Best of luck Dipa Karmanakar, Indian Artistic Gymnastic, Women’s vault #KheloIndia #JeetoRio” he tweeted and people on social media didn’t spare him for this one and it doesn’t look like this will be forgotten any soon. Indian comedy collective All India Bakchod’s co-founder Tanmay Bhat decided to rip apart Goel for his ‘innocent’ mistake (for which a staffer might just have been fired by now) and shared a series of tweets tagging him. He came up with a couple of permutation and combinations on how Vijay Goel could have gone wrong with PV Sindhu’s name, while wishing her on entering the semi-finals of the Women’s Singles Badminton category after defeating World No. 2 Wang Yihan from China.

Okay, so he guessed what Goel could have called Sindhu. JV Bandhu? PT Bindu? Chiranjeevi Pandu? Tumhi Din Chadhe Tumhi Din Dhale Tumhi Ho Bandhu?

This is not something unexpected from Tanmay Bhat, who leaves no chance to troll people. Remember when he tried to troll Priyanka Chopra for her accent in Quantico but, well, he got a response he’ll never forget!
