It appears that Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki’s fondness for Tamil superstar Rajnikant is only growing with time.

On Wednesday, Suzuki shared a dance video alongside popular Japanese YouTuber Mayo, who is known for making videos about India and is fluent in Hindi. The duo danced to ‘Kaavaalaa’ number from Rajinikanth’s latest release Jailer.

While sharing this clip, Suzuki wrote, “My Love for Rajinikanth continues …”. His video has over 12,000 likes so far.

An X user wrote, “Ambassador of Japan to India wins Diplomat edition of #Kaavaalaa trend. Thank you @HiroSuzukiAmbJP for being such a great sport and embracing Indian culture.#Softpower. Thalaivar Rajinikanth’s fandom has no boundaries ”.

Echoing a similar sentiment, a person wrote, “Incredible to see you and Mayo san create magic through dance, blending #Kaavaalaa moves with Japanese flair. #Rajinikanth’s impact crosses oceans!”.

Another person wrote, ‘Nicely done. These attempts are risky. Usually they end up cringe and offending the fans. But these folks have performed it elegantly and not making it look like they are mocking the video.”

Previously, a day after Jailer’s release, the diplomat gave his best wishes to superstar Rajinikanth by sharing a video in which he is trying to learn Rajinikanth’s signature style of wearing sunglasses. Despite his best efforts, Suzuki fails to ace the trick but he nonetheless sends his wishes to the ‘Thalaivar’.
