Leaving one’s car’s keys on the car’s hood sounds like an invitation to theft. However, this is not the case in Dubai, where crime records for theft and break-ins are amongst the lowest in the world. Now a video that indirectly demonstrates Dubai’s no-theft environment is going viral.

The video shows Ayman Al Yaman, a social media content creator, leaving the keys to his Rolls Royce on top of his car before leaving the car unattended and going to a gym. Interestingly when he returns, his car is parked in the same place and the keys also remain untouched.

This video has gathered over 28,000 likes since it was posted on May 28. Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “Next time allow the camera man to record the times u were away, belive me someone will pick dat key and call the police. Dats how dubai security is. No one will steal the car💯 percent, but they will definitely alert police or any security person available.”

Sharing a similar experience, an Instagram user wrote, “Dubai is the best city, which day I forget my wallet in a supermarket in Dubai, after like 1 hour I went back to the supermarket and I found my wallet, my money, cards inside the wallet is save 😂 i too love Dubai”.

Another person recalled, “Lol even if someone is not watching, I forgot my backpack with my passport and 3000$ in a square at palm jumeriah beach front for 8 hours came back met it in same portion with every thing intact @dubai is the safest place in the world 🌍 no cap 🧢.”
