Informing about the design and outlook of the architecture based theme, the internet giant posted on the Google Doodle platform, “Homes, buildings, streets, and cars are decorated with the saffron, white, and green national flag — as seen in today’s artwork.”

This year’s doodle has six doors and windows and it is also depicting India’s national bird the Indian Peacock.

India attained its independence after a struggle of close to two centuries of inequality, violence, and lack of fundamental rights and the freedom was made possible through civil disobedience, perseverance and sacrifices of freedom fighters who laid their lives for resurrecting a free India.
