Over the last couple of years, instructional charts that were once popular in schools acquired new meaning online. These charts are still commonly used in Indian schools to teach them various concepts and ideologies, but with a dash of creativity and photoshopping, they have now become a means of ideological battle in the world of Twitter. Taking off from the character of 'Adarsh Balak' created by Priyesh Trivedi, Adarsh Liberals — a Twitter account that makes it a point to mock the idea of liberalism. There is a constant ideological battle between the bhakts and liberals, and with a slew of Hindu festivals this week — Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal — Adarsh Liberal shared a poster of an 'Adarsh Liberal Hindu festivals calendar' accompanied by its signature brand of sarcasm: 'Ban Akshay Tritiya. Celebrate Khan Tritiya,' 'Ban Dussehra. Ram was a misogynist' and many more.
