Monkeys are among the most mischievous animals. While they often cause chaos, a recent video of a monkey wandering into Singapore’s Changi Airport sets a different perspective. What caught the internet’s attention is a ground staff calmly guiding the monkey outside the airport.
The viral video shows a female ground staff—in her uniform—politely helping the monkey to find its way out. She makes hand gestures for the monkey to understand. Another video shows two macaques roaming on a staircase near the Terminal 2 departure hall at the airport. The video was shared by an Instagram handle @mothershipsg.

The video invited a series of reactions hailing the woman for patiently handling the monkey. “Great skillset to have, if she is out of job, she could work in the zoo as well,” a user wrote. “All praise for her gd job. Not everyone have that level of hers,” another user commented.
“She is absolutely adorable! Thank you for being so kind and caring toward this sweet monkey,” a third user said.
Last month, a video of a monkey crashing through the sunroof of a car in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi caught the internet’s attention. The viral CCTV footage showed a car parked on a busy road when a monkey fell from a height, shattering the sunroof.
In October, a video of a monkey entering the premises of the Supreme Court of India went viral. The monkey stole a lawyer’s bag and a lunchbox.
