Darren Watkins Jr aka IShowSpeed never fails to stun the Internet with his offbeat and fun videos. The YouTuber recently celebrated his 20th birthday and got the best gift: a birthday wish from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sharing a series of pictures from his birthday celebration on Instagram, Speed wrote, “happy birthday to me i’m 20 now.” In the first photo, the YouTuber can be seen posing with two cakes: a Monkey D Luffy cake, from the popular anime One Piece, and a “Ronaldo” cake with the footballer’s cutouts on it.

Commenting on the post, Ronaldo wrote, “Happy Birthday, Speed! Hope your day was great. Stay wild and fast!”

Fans took screenshots of his and widely circulating it on other social media platforms. Making a post, an X handle @FearedBuck wrote, “Cristiano Ronaldo wishes IShowSpeed a happy birthday.”

With over two million views, the post ignited a range of reactions. “Ronaldo, the GOAT, giving a shoutout to Speed? That’s the crossover we didn’t know we needed but now can’t live without,” a user wrote. “I know Speed’s doing quadruple backflips somewhere reading that comment,” another user commented.

“This is so cool! This makes me Kind of envious,” a third user reacted. “This can’t be real,” another user said.

In 2024, the YouTuber met his idol, Ronaldo, after Portugal’s Euro qualifying fixture against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Lisbon. IShowSpeed also has a tattoo of the football star on his left arm. In 2022, he released a song titled Ronaldo.
