As the band gears up for their much-anticipated visit to India, they’ve already wowed audiences with two back-to-back shows in Abu Dhabi. During the concert, Chris Martin, the lead singer, took a pause to share something truly heartwarming. As the cameras captured his father Anthony Martin in the crowd, Chris said, “Many people in the crowd are good-looking, and this guy doesn’t look too bad either. But I have to tell you, I know him very well. I do. Because the man on the screen is my dad.”

The video was posted on Instagram by Virgin Radio Dubai with a caption, “What a wholesome moment @coldplay Abu Dhabi.”

After wrapping up their shows in Abu Dhabi, Chris Martin and the rest of Coldplay are heading to India for a series of performances. The band will play at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21, before heading to Ahmedabad for two shows at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26.

Adding a local touch to the first Mumbai concert, popular Indian singer Jasleen Royal, known for songs like Heeriye and Din Shagna Da, will kick off the night as the opening act for the British rock band.
