Lookalike competitions of pop culture icons are breaking the Internet. After Timothee Chalamet’s lookalike contest, a similar event was held in London’s Soho Square, where hundreds of fans gathered dressed as singer Harry Styles.
Oscar Journeaux from West London, a 22-year-old singer and guitar player of the rock band Parlay, won the lookalike competition, according to viral videos. One of the clips shows several of Styles’s doppelgangers dressed in colourful outfits, attempting to achieve the singer’s iconic fashion style. Towards the end of the clip, the winner and the runner-up were announced.
According to a report in Variety, the contest was organised by journalist Katrina Mirpuri.

With over a million views, many social media users “judged” the content. A user wrote, “maybe harry styles was the friends we made along the way.” Another user commented, “do they think that cause they style their hair like his and wear those clothes they look alike? at least most of the timothee lookalikes were actually lookalikes.”
“But none of them look like Harry,” a third user said. “honestly the guy in the red looks like sebastian stan,” another user wrote.
Last month, actor Timothée Chalamet sent a frenzy among his fans who gathered in Lower Manhattan, New York City, to attend a lookalike event for him. Chalamet took his fans by surprise by crashing the event and posing with several of his doppelgangers. In a viral video, he was seen donning a blue sweater, a cap, and pants.
