Each day of the festival is dedicated to the worship of the nine avatars of Durga, which concludes on the ninth day with Ram Navami, celebrating the birth of Lord Rama. This year, Chaitra Navratri is being celebrated from Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra, starting on April 9, 2024, and ending with Ram Navami on April 17, 2024.

During this nine-day-long period, Hindu devotees worship Maa Durga and her nine incarnations, including Maa Shailputri, Maa Brahmacharini, Maa Chandraghanta, Maa Kushmanda, Skanda Mata, Maa Katyayani, Maa Kaalratri, Maa Mahagauri, and Maa Siddhidatri. The worship of these nine avatars of Durga is believed to bring prosperity, happiness, and good fortune to the devotees.

April 9 (Tuesday): Ghatasthapana and Shailputri Puja
April 10 (Wednesday): Brahmacharini Puja
April 11 (Thursday): Chandraghanta Puja
April 12 (Friday): Kushmanda Puja
April 13 (Saturday): Skanda Mata Puja and Naag Puja
April 14 (Sunday): Katyayani Puja
April 15 (Monday): Maha Saptami and Kaalratri Puja
April 16 (Tuesday): Durga Ashtami, Maa Mahagauri Puja
April 17 (Wednesday): Ram Navami
