Dyson, known for its stylers and straighteners is all set to launch its hair straightener called Airstrait in India on July 4. According to the company, the upcoming wet-to-dry styling tool offers a revolutionary way to straighten and style multiple hair types directly from wet, without hot plates, where it simultaneously straightens and dries hair using air without causing any damage.

The product is said to be compatible with different hair types such as stretched bubble puff ponytail, 90s straight blowout, naturally straight blowout and comes with wet, dry, and cool styling modes. Besides, users will also have control over airflow with two-speed settings.

The Airstrait makes use of the hydrogen bonds from the water molecule on the wet hair to enable the users to style effectively without using much heat. Due to lower operational temperature, the internal structure of the hair will be protected with the ability to reflect the light for a shiny finish.

To align the hair for smooth end styling, it projects the air downwards at 45 degrees, and it also comes with an intelligent heat control system, which can smartly adjust the temperature up to 16 times per second. The system is powered by a 13-blade impeller that spins up to 106,000rpm, capable of propelling 11.9 litres of air through the machine per second at 3.6kPa of air pressure
.
In the UK, the Dyson Airstrait straightener is priced at £449.99, and in India, it is expected to be priced around Rs 50,000.
