Microsoft has packed Windows 10 and Windows 11 with a ton of animations that make it look and feel modern. However, these animations can be taxing, especially if you are using an old PC with a hard disk.
While these animations are only visible when you open a new window, close an app or click on the start button, they may be hogging up precious resources, making the overall user experience sluggish at times. If your system doesn’t feel more snappy, you may want to disable several animation effects to speed it up. However, doing so may not make the operating system less visually appealing.
