Apple Inc.’s iPhone 5S,iPhone 5C smartphones set for launch today

In the lead up to the grand debut,the 5S and the 5C became subjects of intense discussion,liberally interspersed with rumours that are driving the conversation to a crescendo,which provided for Apple Inc. fans supposed specs and features that are seemingly real – it kept global eyeballs riveted on all things Apple Inc. for months and months,driving up the interest in the product and vitally,the company’s share prize.

While the flood of detail is overwhelming,we take a careful look at what we have so far been able to cull out from the random noise about the new iOS devices in terms of both their builds and capabilities. We list some of the more ‘believable’ experts’ (loosely defined as those who have over the years built a reputation for being correct more often than not) opinions as confirmed iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S specifications.

The spotlight,as far as emerging markets are concerned,is on the more ‘economical’ iPhone 5C,which is expected to be suitably priced to compete in places where money is tight. For those who have no money problems or want the best of tech even at top-end prices,is a beefed-up iPhone 5S model.

Forrester analyst Charles Golvin says the consensus is for Apple Inc. to unveil a new high-end phone,”most likely called the 5S,with the same look and feel physically of iPhone 5,but with a speed boost; new processor,and new graphics capabilities.”

A lower-cost iPhone,has been dubbed the 5C and it “would come in multiple colors analogous to today’s iPod touch,” Golvin said.

iPhone 5S is expected to be a power-packed version of the current iPhone 5,boasting a huge processor and much better specs. It may feature a fingerprint sensor,a 12 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash,and will come in a gold or champagne color variant for the first time. It is also expected to launch with the new dual core A7 processor,which will be speedier and provide a ‘smoother’ experience. However,the design is expected to be similar to that of the iPhone 5.

Fans have been asking for a low-cost budget iPhone for years and now it seems that Apple Inc. finally stepped up to broaden its customer base.

Budget iPhone 5C will pack medium-range specs,have plastic casing,and come in a variety of new colors – the iconic company is going ‘cheap’ to bring itself down to the level of the middle-level buyer,if not the masses,something that it has shunned through its history. Along with the usual black and white offerings from Apple Inc.,it is expected to launch in blue,yellow,and powder pink as well. According to Apple’s media invitation last week,”This should brighten everyone’s day”.

The price for the iPhone 5S is expected somewhere between $360 and $500 and iPhone 5C expect anything between $300 to $400.

The highly secretive company may have a live stream available for the launch of the new line of iPhone 5S,5C handsets,following this year’s WWDC event in June where the company decided to broadcast its keynote address via Safari-enabled Apple devices and through Apple TV for the first time.
