I have written about how some gadgets are good but become intimidating because of the host of features they pack. As a result, you end up using only a fraction of the device’s features. The other extreme is to make the gadget focused so that the simplicity makes it practical and easy to use. The Milagrow Coinsucker Pro does exactly that by being a simple handheld vacuum cleaner that just does its job.

The Milagrow Coinsucker Pro is a portable vacuum cleaner that is maybe the lightest I have used, at about 700 grams. This is an important aspect in a handheld vacuum cleaner, as heavy devices tend to tire you out quickly, especially when you are holding the device above your shoulder height.

This device is also as simple as a vacuum cleaner can be. The body has a BLDC motor behind a transparent casing that houses the HEPA filter. Here you can attack a flexible suction hose as well as a long tube and brush attachment. There is a power button on top. That is about it, and it cannot get simpler than this.

The Coinsucker Pro offers adequate suction, able to suck dust from my living room blinds and from behind the TV. In minutes, the white HEPA filter was enveloped in a layer of grey NCR dust. Notably, the vacuum is relatively quiet, but this also means it lacks a motor speed adjustment.

I found the vacuum effective for cleaning window grooves, behind speakers and the TV, and the many keyboards in my home. However, it struggles to reach high areas because the stick attachment is less than a foot long.

The 6000 mAh battery lasts about 25 minutes of cleaning before you have to recharge. The Milagrow Coinsucker Pro is small enough to be charged by a USB port. But there is no wall charger in the box, so you will need to keep one handy for this.

It is easy to clean, as in a single click, the HEPA filter case opens and you can get rid of the accumulated dust. But ensure you do this in a place without any wind, if possible, on top of a garbage bin. The HEPA filter can be easily washed and replaced once it gets really dirty.
