Evidson Audio Sport W6 is clearly aimed at those sporting an active lifestyle
We have been writing quite a bit about new companies offering Indian audiophiles more options. The latest in this list is Evidson, a homegrown audio solutions company that has some serious global ambitions as is obvious from the many languages on the package.
Evidson Audio Sport W6
The Evidson Audio Sport W6 is clearly aimed at those sporting an active lifestyle. It comes with round the ear cords that hold the earpiece in place whatever you do. There is an integrated microphone for those who like making calls during their early morning jog.
Price: Rs 1,299

The Evidson Audio Sport W6 has a pretty neat design. I am not a big fan of white in Indian conditions, but this seems like one that will last the wear and tear, as well as the sweat and grime. Also, the loop around the ear just stays there whatever you do and that is a big advantage for the kind of people who will end up buying this.
There is a microphone for those who have to take calls. However, there is no remote and you will need to accept the call on the phone itself
The audio quality is very good, especially since this is not a very expensive earphone. It seems to be a bit partial to vocals and I really enjoyed listening to my kind of music — usually a mix of everything that goes with the prefix hard to it. The audio has depth and richness that should be able to keep most people happy.

What is not good?
While I like the audio quality, I have a feeling that lot of people who get their dope from heavy bass might find these a bit underwhelming. The bass is good, but it seems to lack a breakout quality, as if there is something suppressing it. I love my music that way, but try telling that to a Honey Singh or Aero Chord fan.

Should you buy?
Yes, if you are looking for a good active use earphone that does not compromise on audio quality. No, if your genre of music is heavily partial to bass. In my books this is a great buy, especially given the price point.
