Tech News Today: Galaxy S24 series India launch, iOS 17.3 update with new wallpapers, and more

Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones are now available for pre-order in India, with a starting price of Rs 79,999 for the Galaxy S24 and the price goes up to Rs 1,59,999 for the 1 TB variant of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. While the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ are based on the Exynos 2400, the flagship Snapdragon S24 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Apple just released the release candidate (almost final version) of the iOS 17.3 update to eligible iPhones, which now includes new "Unity" wallpapers. The update also includes several bug fixes and it also enhances the overall security of iPhones.

Seagate has officially launched its latest Mozaic 3+ hard disk with 30TB storage space. The HDD comes with HAMR and several other industry-first technologies, including a 12nm integrated controller, Gen 7 Spintronic Reader, and plasmonic writer, and the HDD costs $450 in the US.

Several of the AI features announced at the Unpacked 2024 will be available for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S9 series (high-end models), and the Galaxy Z Flip5 and the Galaxy Z Fold5 via a software update (OneUI 6.1). However, some of the new camera features could be limited to the newer models.
