With food delivery apps, life has become more convenient. Whether you’re too tired to prepare dinner or planning a last-minute hangout with friends, getting your favourite food is no longer a hassle. Apps like Zomato make it easy to order your preferred dishes in just a few minutes. Adding to its user-friendly features, Zomato has now introduced a new option that allows group orders.

Zomato’s founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, announced on LinkedIn that the app is rolling out the Group Ordering feature. “You can now share a link with your friends, and everyone can add to the cart seamlessly, making ordering together faster and easier,” Goyal stated in his post.

This new feature eliminates the hassle of passing around a phone for everyone to add their orders. The CEO mentioned that the service is being rolled out gradually. “We’re gradually making it available to all customers. If the feature is available to you, try it for your house party tonight and let us know how it goes,” Goyal added.

Apps like Zomato have changed the way Indians access their favourite foods on the go. These apps allow users to order from a wide variety of restaurants and cuisines with just a few taps on their smartphones. Perhaps the biggest advantage of these apps is that they eliminate the need to travel and wait for hours.

Last month, Zomato introduced a feature that allows users to delete their order history. Goyal announced the feature Order Delete on his X handle. The CEO announced the new feature following his humourous exchange with a user named Karan who said that his wife had found out about his late-night snack orders.
